Breeding is not only a business for us, but a passion that we love. We sometimes get emotional when our puppies leave us. We don’t have a personal life and we rarely get to vacation. Most of our days only consist of caring for our animals. We understand and are proud to say that the moment we bring our puppies into the world they are our responsibility and if at anytime our puppy families are unable to care for our puppies they are still our responsibility. We are prepared to dedicate our life and stand behind our promise to our puppy families and the puppies that leave us.
We are a small but knowledgeable Breeder located in Virginia. We have owned Shar-Pei for as long as we can remember, however we did not start breeding until 2012. We spent many years learning about the breed by owning and loving them. When we had interest in having our own litter of puppies we did a lot of research and gathered as much information as we could until we felt we were ready to bring little life’s into this world. In 2012 with our first litter, we learned even more than we could imagine. We endured many nights of up all night with mom and puppies, tears and lots of smiles, lots of cleanup and a lot of stress… but our hearts were hooked. We specialize in toys, minis and standard Chinese Shar-Pei Puppies in all colors (except Merle) and all coats. Our number one goal is to produce the healthiest top-quality puppies, but also puppies with great temperaments suitable for families all over the US and Canada!
Visiting Us: We are often contacted by families who want to visit our Shar-Pei in person. After Covid in 2020 we decided as a family that it is best not to allow anyone to visit our home for the safety of our family. We raise our Shar-Pei at our home where we also raise our young children. Over the years, we also realized that allowing people to visit our home has become a safety concern in more ways than we imagined. We really appreciate you for understanding and respecting our decision and hope that we can still provide you with one of our precious babies. We are available to Facetime you with our puppies and can schedule a in person meeting in a public location in Suffolk Virginia for you to meet a couple of our adult Shar-Pei or puppies if we have any that are 6 weeks of age or older and available. (We never meet families with puppies that have already been reserved.) We do not allow for puppies under the age of 6 weeks to leave our home for visits under any circumstances due to the widespread of diseases that puppies are prone to.
Breeding Rights VS Pet Companions: We look for loving pet companion homes for our puppies. We provide our puppies with Limited AKC Registration Papers to prevent breeding. We strongly feel that breeding should be left to experience professional breeders to ensure the health and future of our breed. Full Registration will ONLY be considered to certain experienced breeders, and we reserve the right to deny anyone full AKC rights at any time. We do not want our puppies to end up at breeding farms or shelters and solely as happy pet companions.
Health: We are high believers in nutrition and health and recommend that our puppies are to be placed on Pawtrees Organic Dog Food as well as an immune building support seasoning. We also recommend for our puppies to remain on Nuvet Plus Wafers or Powder which is also an immune system supporting supplement and so much more. This information is all in our Genetic Health Guarantee & Adoption Contract and can be conveniently found on our website under the specific pages for Nuvet and Pawtree.
Included With Your Puppy: All of our puppies receive their puppy vaccines prior to turning 8 weeks old. We strongly feel that this is the best way to ensure that our puppies get their safest start before leaving us. We deworm our puppies several times before 8 weeks of age all provided by us. We also supply each puppy with a Canine Health Record indicating vaccines and deworming’s. The health record will be provided with your puppy’s AKC Papers, Health Guarantee and New Puppy Information sheet when they leave us. Each puppy will also come with 30 days of FREE pet insurance once you register your puppies AKC papers. This insurance can be used on vet exams. We are also offering the option to have your new puppy microchipped before he/she leaves us. This is an option and not required, but we do ask that you let us know before your puppy reaches 5 weeks of age if you do not want your puppy to be microchipped. Every puppy goes home with a puppy gift bag just for you and your puppy. As of 12-20-2018 Our puppies are also guaranteed with a 3 YEAR Genetic Health Guarantee Contract (unless otherwise specified) INCLUDING COVERING AGAINST SHAR PEI FEVER which as everyone knows can be commonly found in the breed. You MUST have your puppy examined within 3 days after you receive your puppy (or unless otherwise discussed) for this contract to be valid & you MUST follow ALL the guidelines on your contract to keep it valid. Health Testing: Another option that we offer that sets us apart from other breeders is the option to have your puppy health tested before your puppy leaves us. We are EXTREMELY confident in the health of our dogs and therefore have decided to give this option to all new puppy buyers with peace of mind. If you choose to have your puppy health tested you MUST let us know before your puppy is 4 weeks old and you will be required to pay for all costs of the test, collection, and shipping fees.
Socializing: Our puppies are handled daily from birth on. We have 6 children who love to handle, spoil, and love your puppy as soon as they are born! This is extremely important to us and ensures everyone that the puppies are exposed to children, other dogs and lots of noises well before they leave our family. This early and continuous socialization guarantees that your puppy will leave our home with the best temperaments to suit any family.
Breeding Standards: Our breeding standards are also set very high. We only breed the healthiest hand selected Shar Pei. We do NOT breed Shar Pei who have needed eye tacking as a puppy. We only want to produce the absolute best genetically produced Chinese Shar Pei Puppies possible. We never dual sire a litter, meaning we always know who our puppy’s fathers are and don’t believe in multiple sired litters.
Our Family Becomes Yours: From the moment, you purchase a puppy from us you are a part of our family. We love to keep in touch and have frequent updates on our puppies throughout their lives. We loved them first and hope that we can always be a part of their life.

Discounts are available for families who have already made one of our puppies apart of their family. I also give discounts for new puppy buyers who refer us to other friends or family who also purchases a puppy at the same time.
Shipping: We are also experienced with Shipping. We put 100 percent into the safety of our puppies. We can ship your puppy to you using an insured licensed and experienced Ground Transporter or an insured licensed Airline Nanny to make it the most convenient experience for you.
